Leigh Sadler

Instructional Technology Specialist

Leigh Sadler is an Instructional Technology Specialist for Columbus State University’s Center for Quality Teaching and Learning (CQTL) and Educational Technology Training Center (ETTC).

Ms. Sadler spent over 7 years as a math teacher in both elementary and middle school classrooms in the Muscogee County School District. While in the classroom with MCSD, Ms. Sadler earned a gifted education endorsement to teach advanced content mathematics courses to her sixth grade students. She also served as a math specialist at Forest Road Elementary School with the America’s/Georgia’s Choice design. In an effort to help students excel outside of the math classroom, Ms. Sadler has prepared and taken student teams to the MATH COUNTS State Tournaments.

A Columbus native, Ms. Sadler received a Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education at Auburn University. While teaching, Ms. Sadler earned a Masters degree and an Educational Specialist degree in elementary education at Troy University.

During her time as a classroom teacher, Ms. Sadler continually worked to effectively use technology in her instruction. While Ms. Sadler is no longer in the classroom, she is excited to share her ideas to help teachers be successful and innovative as they practice using technology to enhance instruction in their own classrooms.
