Dr. Larry Moore

Director, Education Technology Training Center

Dr. Larry Moore, Director of the Educational Technology Training Center, has over 25 years of experience directing a technology and communications center. He also served as an instructor at both Auburn University and Troy State University in teacher education programs teaching undergraduate and graduate level courses in the area of instructional technology. Larry has also taught at the University of Alabama in Birmingham, and spent several years as a media producer/director at the University of Georgia. Before returning to graduate school, Larry was a secondary teacher in Birmingham, Alabama.

Dr. Moore is interested in the effective integration of technology into the curriculum and how technology can impact student learning and achievement. He has been successful at acquiring external funding for research in the use of innovative and emerging technologies for enhancing teaching and learning, and has worked to establish video conferencing networks that can be used for instruction, outreach and research. Larry has published in refereed journals and has given numerous presentations at professional conferences.
