Justin Rogers

Chief Information Officer, Georgia Virtual School Program

Justin Rogers is the Chief Information Officer for the Georgia Virtual School Program, an initiative of the Georgia Department of Education. His responsibilities in this position include the supervision of all the Information Technology applications, databases, systems, functions, and staff. Mr. Rogers also serves as the lead programmer for the Georgia Virtual School’s Registration system.

Mr. Rogers previous experience includes serving as an Application Developer for the Georgia Virtual Technical College (GVTC) where he actively managed the GVTC network, learning management system, and web application development. It was at GVTC where Mr. Rogers created the Georgia Virtual Schools Registration system in a collaborative effort between GVTC and the Georgia Virtual School Program. Before GVTC, Mr. Rogers served as Network Administrator at East Central Technical College (ECTC), administering the computer network and technical support for the ECTC system.

Mr. Rogers holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Information Technology from the University of Phoenix and is actively pursuing a masters degree in Business Administration.
