Dr. Steve Fagan
Science Instructional Technology Specialist
Dr. Steve Fagan has more than 35 years experience as an educator. He currently works for his own private
consulting firm, “Science Wing Consulting Services, LLC” and in that capacity he is a Science Instructional
Technology Specialist for the Center for Quality Teaching and Learning at Columbus State University. As a
classroom educator, Dr. Fagan, has taught middle school earth science, high school biology, chemistry,
physics, anatomy/physiology, botany, AP Biology, and AP Chemistry. He has served as a K-12 Science
Coordinator and Instructional Technology Coordinator for Henry County. He worked in Butts County as the
K-12 Curriculum Director (all subject areas), Technology Director, Staff Development Director, Testing
Director, and Director of Business Services.
Since retirement from public education in June 2005, he has worked as a Science Instructional Technology
Specialist at Macon State College Educational Technology Training Center. He also taught Elementary
Methods and Materials at Macon State College. He has worked as a consultant for several school
districts in Georgia on a variety of topics including science GPS.
