The CENTER
for Quality Teaching and Learning
Founded in 2004 to serve pre-kindergarten – post-secondary educators in the
Columbus State University service area, the Center promotes and facilitates
regional initiatives to advance the study and practice of quality teaching
and learning. The Center is host to a regional learning community that is
concerned with the learning of educators (professional development and
research) and students (teaching) and the ways in which the learning of
one directly benefits the other.
Mission Statement
The mission of the Center for Quality Teaching and
Learning
is to provide twenty-first century staff development for k-12 educators,
provide community outreach programs, and
provide twenty-first century learning opportunities to teacher education
candidates in collaboration with surrounding school systems.
